'Cilla (short for Priscilla) is my "pretty girl" - I rescued her on the day that she was to be EU (euthanized in shelter lingo)... she was listed as high Heartworm positive and 8 years old - my soul just knew that she was not yet "ready to leave"........

Because of her history, I began working to restore her health as soon as she entered my home; she was immediately placed on a raw food diet, and she was given several nutritional supplements.  Essential Oils were administered to address emotional issues that she most certainly had, as the result of her days as a "starving stray" on the streets.  Because of the way that she walked (with splayed feet) and her more than prominent nipples, I have come to believe that she was part of a puppy mill.
While experiencing good health, she remained introverted until I adopted another dog; it was he that taught her how to "be a dog"... playing and digging and running around with wild abandon.  Her first significant healing episode with essential oils came when she was bitten by a rattlesnake; while it was necessary for her to have anti-venom and several transfusions, the use of essential oils allowed her to recover more quickly  and without any tissue necrosis at the site of the bite.
Another episode where essential oils took center stage in the healing process is when 'Cilla made the mistake of taking Elvis's bone; he was not "good with that", and a vigorous fight ensued.  'Cilla received a 2" gash on her left shoulder - it could have easily received 5 or more stitches, but I elected to treat it at home using essential oils.  She did not go to the vet, receive antibiotics or any other allopathic treatments...AND.... she healed perfectly, without infection, without scar tissue.  Review the photos below to see for yourself:
